Céad Chomaoineach/First Communion
Guímid gach ráth ar na páistí ó Rang 2 agus múinteoir Fiona atá ag ullmhú go dian don Chéad Chomaoineach ar an Domhnach seo chugainn, 17ú Aibreáin ag 10:30r.n. san ArdEaglais. Tá fáilte roimh cách chuig an ócáid speisialta seo.  Is mian linn go mbeidh slua mór páistí ó R3/R4/R5 & R6 sa chór agus tá siúl again go ndéanfaidh gach páiste sna ranganna sin iarracht maith a bheith ann.  Féach freisin an nóta ó CAIRDE faoin gcóisir srl.
We wish every blessing to the children from Rang 2 and their teacher Múinteoir Fiona who are busy preparing for First Holy Communion this Sunday 17th April at 10:30am in the Cathedral.  Everyone is welcome to attend this special occasion.  We hope children from R3/R4/R5 & R6 will make every effort to attend for the choir, as it enhances the ceremony to have a large choir.  See note from CAIRDE today re. party etc.  Míle buíochas.

Fleadh CHEOIL-comhrá GAEILGE
Beidh Fleadh Cheoil Shligigh ar siúl i Mí an Mheithimh. Ba mhór againn go nglacfadh páistí ón scoil páirt sa chomórtas Chomhrá Gaeilge. Má tá suim agaibh, seol €3 mar tháille iontrála chun na scoile (faoi 9,11,13 ar an 1ú Eanáir) leis an bhfoirm iniata. Ullmhófar na páistí a chláraíonn. Beidh Fleadh Shligigh ar siúil i dTobar a’ Choirre ón 4-5/6.
The Sligo County Fleadh Cheoil will take place in June.  We would be delighted if some of the children from the school were to take part in the Comhrá Gaeilge competition.  If you are interested in your child taking part, please send in entry form with €3 in an envelope by this FRIDAY April 15th. The children will be prepared in school for the event (u-9, U-11 and U-13 on January 1st). First event (Sligo Fleadh) in Tubbercurry from Sat. 4th to Sun 5th June.

Meabhrán ón mBord Bainistíochta/Reminder from Board of Management:
Tá an spriocdháta don dara íocaíocht imithe agus gahamid buíochas leo siúd a rinne íocaíocht. Tá fhios againn go bhfuil brú airgid ar dhaoine, mar sin is féidir an t-airgead a íoc ina dhá chuid, is é sin €35, €50 nó €55 ag brath ar an méid páistí ón teaghlach atá ag freastal ar an scoil.  Bhí an dá chuid le híoc roimh an 30ú Samhain 2015 agus 31ú Márta 2016.  Ba mhaith linn meabhrán á thabhairt daoibh go dtéann an t-airgead seo i dtreo costáisí laethúil scoile a íoc, soilsiú, téamh, táirgí sláinteachais agus saoráidí dramhaíola, irl., nach mbíonn íoctha ina iomlaine ag an Roinn Oideachais agus a bhíonn á úsáid ag na páistí go léir sa scoil.  Féach thíos don chostas a iarraimid ó gach teaghlach.
The date for receipt of second payments for Voluntary contribution has now passed.  Many thanks to the many families that have contributed to date.  We are extremely conscious that there are many costs facing each of us hence the Board seeking payment in two moieties in equal amounts of €35, €50 or €55 depending on the number of children from your family attending the school.  The final dates for payment of each moiety were 30th November 2015 and 31st March 2016.  We have kept the rates as low as possible, conscious of the current economic conditions. We wish to respectfully remind all families that this money goes towards a deficit which exists in most schools from the Dept of Education towards lighting, heating, hygiene products and waste facilities, used by ALL children in the school.  The cost per families is as follows, and we would be grateful to receive any outstanding contributions before the end of April please:
€70          One child
€100         Two children
€110         Three or more children
