SAOIRE NA CÁSCA/EASTER HOLIDAYS:
Dúnfaidh an scoil i gcóir laethanta saoire na Cásca ar an Aoine seo 12ú Aibreáin ag 12:00 i.n. agus osclóidh sí arís ar an Luan 29ú Aibreáin.
School will close for Easter holidays this Friday 12^th April at 12:00 noon and will re-open on Monday 29^th April at 8:50am.

Griangrafanna Scoile/School Photographs
Beidh grianghrafadóir ag teacht chun na scoile ar an gCéadaoin seo 10ú Aibreáin. Bheimis buíoch dá mbeadh na héide scoile ceart ar do pháiste ar an lá sin. I mbliana cuirfear mionphictiúr abhaile gur féidir a fheiceáil roimh iad a cheannach. Tabhair faoi deara:

Tógfar grianghraif de gach páiste ina n-aonar i Naíonáin Shóisir agus Rang 6.
I gcás gach rang eile, ní ghlacfar grianghraf aonar ach amháin le páistí gan siblíní sa scoil; glacfar grianghraf teaghlaigh díobh siúd le siblíní.
Más mian leat pictiúr aonair d’aon leanbh sa scoil nach bhfuil i Naí Shóisir ná i Rang 6, agus go bhfuil siblíní aife/aici sa scoil, cuir sin iúl don scoil faoin gCéadaoin ar 9174019/ scoil@cnocnare.net

A photographer will be coming to the school this Wednesday 10^th April to take school photographs. Children must wear their full uniform on that day. Proofs will be sent home and photographs will be sold on a preview before purchase basis ie. there is no obligation to purchase. Please note the following:

Photographs will be taken of all children individually in Junior Infants and Sixth Class.
For all other classes, only children with NO siblings in the school will be taken individually and those with siblings will have a group family photo taken.
If you want an individual picture of any child in the school who is not in Jnr Infants or Sixth class, and who HAS a sibling in the school, you must let the school know before next Wednesday on 9174019 / scoil@cnocnare.net .

FEIS SHLIGIGH – Maith Sibh!/Well Done!
Comhghairdeas le na páistí go léir a ghlac pháirt i bhFeis Shligigh le déanaí. Buíochas lenár n-iarscoláirí agus ábhar múinteoirí Tomás Ó Gabháin agus Calum Ó Domhnaill a d’ullmhaigh an grúpa cheoil (1ú Ait) agus an Banna Feadóga (2ú ait).

Congratulations to all the children who participated in the recent events in Feis Shligigh. Special thanks to past pupils and trainee teachers Tomás Ó Gabháin and Calum Ó Domhnaill who prepared the music group (1st Place) and the Whistle Band (2nd place).

Beimid ag seoladh pacáiste na Cásca ón scoil go Tumu Tumu amárach – cártaí agus obair na bpáistí. Is féidir le do pháiste cur le seo tríd
(1) pictiúr a bhaineann leis an gCáisc a tharraingt
(2) Scéal a bhaineann leis an gCáisc a scríobh nó
(3) píosa ghearr fúthu féin agus faoin scoil a scríobh.

Work started on the building of a kitchen for Tumu Tumu primary school so that the children can have hot meals. Some of our funds went towards this. Great news! (See pictures below)
We will be sending an Easter package from the school to Tumu Tumu tomorrow to include cards and children’s work. Your child can contribute by
(1) Easter related picture
(2) Easter related story/custom in writing or
(3) Short piece of writing about themselves and our school. Please submit by tomorrow, Tuesday. Míle Buíochas!
