Tá súil againn go bhfuil sibh ag baint taitneamh as na laethanta saoire. Athosclóidh an scoil Dé Céadaoin 30 Lúnasa 2023 @ 8.40r.n. Tabhair faoi deara go mbeidh an scoil ag dúnadh ag 12.00 ar an Aoine 1ú Meán Fómhair le haghaidh Cruinniú Foirne. Hopefully everyone is enjoying the holidays. School reopens on WEDNESDAY August 30th. Please note that the school will close at 12pm on Friday of that week, 1st September, for a Staff Meeting.
CABHAIR AG TEASTÁIL/HELP REQUIRED
Táimid ag lorg roinnt tuismitheoirí chun an taobh amuigh den scoil a ghlanadh roimh thús na scoilbhliana nua ar an gCéadaoin seo chugainn (23/8) ó 6.30-8 i.n. Ní neart go cur le chéile!
We would appreciate it if a number of parents would be willing to lend a hand at a clean-up of the school grounds on WEDNESDAY next August 23rd from 6.30 – 8 p.m. The main tasks to cover will be (a) assembling outdoor furniture (b) rubbish collection and (c) weeding/trimming hedges etc. Many hands make light work!
Corp Oideachais/P.E.
Beidh na laethanta do Corp Oideachais socraithe nuair a fhileann na páistí ar ais ar scoil. Mar sin, is gá gnáth culaith scoile a chaitheamh ar an gCéadaoin 30ú. P.E days will be decided when the children return to school. Therefore, children should wear the school uniform on the opening day, Wednesday 30th.

The free school books scheme for all primary school children is now in place. All school textbooks, workbooks and copybooks are now funded by the government. As before, the school will continue to source all items and operate a book rental scheme where applicable.
A fee of €45 per child is needed to pay for the following items not covered by the grant:
• Art & Craft materials

• Photocopying
• 24/7 Personal Accident Insurance (€5.10)
