MÓRSHIÚIL LÁ le PÁDRAIG – St. PATRICK’s DAY PARADE 2018

Beidh Paráid Lá le Pádraig ar siúl ar an Satharn seo,17ú Márta,agus beidh an scoil páirteach ann i mbliana. “Ceiliúradh Bliain na mBan” an téama.

1. Is í AN BHRANRÍON MÉABH & A LAOCHRA atá roghnaithe againn don iontrál i mbliana. Taispeánfar smaointe simplí dona páistí maidir le cultacha a bheadh in oiriúint and eagróidh an foireann frapaí srl.
2.
Tá tuismitheoirí ag teastáil chun siúl leis na páistí agus chun aghaidheanna a phéinteáil – bheimis buíoch dá mbeadh sibh ag Excol ar Mail Coach Road ag 11.15r.n. Leirigh ar an bhfoirm thíos le do thoil ma ta tú ar fáil.

3. NB: Beidh ar thuismitheoirí a pháistí a bhailiú ó gharáiste DAVEY MOTORS, Sráid an Phiarsaigh díreach i ndiaidh AN SCOIL críochnú sa pharáid. Bíonn an scoil de gnáth ag tús na paráide agus mar sin bíonn muid críochnaithe i bhfad roimh an deireadh!

The school will participate in this year’s St Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday (theme ‘Celebrating The Year of the Woman’)

1. We have selected QUEEN MAEVE & HER WARRIORS as the theme for our entry The children will be shown simple ideas for costume at school during this week and staff will design and build props.

2. We will need parents who have offered to walk or help paint faces, to be at Excol on Mail Coach Road at 11.15am or close to it. Please indicate if you are available on the form below.

3. Parents must collect their children from the old DAVEY MOTORS Garage, Pearse Road (opposite the Mercy Primary) immediately after the school finishes in the parade. Please note that generally the Gaelscoil are amongst the first to walk the parade and therefore are finished a long time before the full parade ends. Somebody must be available to collect children as soon as we are finished, NOT when parade finishes.
