- na tuismitheoirí ar fad a chuidigh leo ullmhú don, go háirithe an Coiste ‘Do This in Memory of Me’.
- Múinteoir Gráinne agus an cór & ceoltóirí, bhí sibh ar fheabhas.
- Muireann, Bríd agus foireann iomlán na scoile,
- Cairde, go háirithe na tuismitheoirí a d’eagraigh cóisir do na páistí i ndiaidh an Aifrinn agus a chabhraigh linn. Buíochas fresin daoibh a d’fhág bia don chóisir.
Congratulations to R 2 who made their First Holy Communion on Sunday. A big thank you to:
- Múinteoir Fiona, Múinteoir Jade, Síle and the children themselves,
- Monsignor Dolan & Fr. Declan
- the parents, who helped the children prepare for the day, especially the committee of the ‘Do This in Memory of Me’ programme.
- Múinteoir Gráinne and the choir & musicians, you were all excellent.
- Muireann, Bríd and all school staff
- Cairde, especially the parents who organised the party after the mass and helped out. Also anyone who left food in for the party. The parents & children from R2 thank you all sincerely for a wonderful party.
Gach bliain, molaimíd do na páistí ó R2 & R6 airgid a thabhairt do “Ospís an Iarthuaiscirt” (R6) agus “St. Johns Hospital Patient Comfort Fund” (R2). Beidh an t-airgead á bhailiú ó Rang 2 go dtí an Aoine seo 4ú Bealtaine. Míle buíochas!
Every year, we encourage the children from the Communion and Confirmation classes to make a donation to a local charity, in this case the St. John’s Hospital Comfort Patient Fund (R2). Donations will be accepted from R2 up to Friday 4th May. Three children will then be picked from a hat to visit St John’s hospital with the total donation. Míle Buíochas!
NB Laethanta Dúnta/School Closure Dates:
Dúnfaidh an scoil ón Luan 7ú Bealtaine go dtí an Aoine 11ú i gcóir Saoire Poiblí agus lár téarma. Tá a fhios ag na tiománaithe bus faoi na socraithe seo.
The school will be closed from Monday 7th May to Friday 11th May 2018, inclusive, for bank holiday and Mid-Term as per calendar. Bus drivers are aware of the arrangements.

In the interests of Health & Safety, we would ask
(1) not to congregate at the wall during the morning drop off, as cars and busses are continually driving through that space, and
(2) that you do not allow your child(ren) to climb the stone bank (between carpark and pitch) The loose stone can cause falls and accidents have occurred previously.
