FAR EAST MAGAZINE
Má tá suim agat síntiús a thabhairt don irisleabhar “Far East”, cuir €15 chun na scoile. Is iad na Columban Missionaries a eisíonn é chun cabhrú leo a gcuid oibre a chur i gcrích i dtíortha thar lear. Ba mhór acu do chuid tacaíochta.
If anybody is interested in subscribing to the “Far East” magazine for the coming year, please send in €15 (yearly subscription fee) in an envelope clearly marked “FAR EAST”. This magazine is produced by the Columban Missionaries who provide basic needs in health, education and housing in countries that suffer from serious poverty, political unrest and severe climate changes. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Airgead Scoile/School Payments: Riaracháin/Administration
Tá sé fíor-thábhachtach go mbíonn uimhir teagmhála tuistí againn do gach páiste sa scoil. Má tá aon athrú tagtha ar bhur sonraí teagmhála, cuir scéal chuig Muireann san oifig láithreach, le bhur dtoil. Míle Buíochas.
It is imperative that the school has a contact number of a parent/guardian for each child, which is accessible at all times. If you have changed/updated ANY of your contact details, please let Muireann in the school office know immediately, thank you.
Tá airgead leabhair scoile nach bhfuil íochta fós thar téarma faoi láthair – tá sé le n-íoc anois le bhur dtoil.
By now, all school books should be paid for and at least the first payment of the School Contribution made, due by end of November. We would be most grateful if school accounts can be settled at your earliest convenience at the start of the school year, as accounts payable come due from book providers etc. The Book Rental Scheme run by the school gives an approximate saving of 10-15% on the cost of books as opposed to the cost parents themselves would face in the event of self-purchase. The Contribution makes up a shortfall in funding from D.E.S. Every family is asked to contribute and we have kept the costs consistent over the past 20+ years. It is used for services and sundries that ALL children in the school avail of and benefit from. As can be imagined, the expenditure has increased greatly despite DES funding and we are very grateful to those who have already contributed.
NB: Payments can be made in instalments, paid directly to the office, or by transfer to the School Bank Account, detailed below. As always, if there is any difficulty in making payments, please contact Mícheál in strictest confidence.
Bheimis buíoch as aon fhoirm, airgead, cead srl. a bheith seolta ar ais CHOMH LUATH AGUS IS FÉIDIR le bhur dtoil. Freisin bí cinnte go gcuirtear aon airgead a thugtar don scoil (turas srl.) i gclúdach litreach. Le beagnach 250 dalta sa scoil, tá sé dodhéanta súil a choinneáil ar airgead nach bhfuil i gclúdach, go háirithe ag an am seo den bhliain. Muna bhfuil na clúdaigh scoile buí agat, seol € 3.50 chugainn agus cuirfimid paicéad nua chugat, nó is féidir aon chlúdach litreach ón mbaile a athchúrsáil. Tá sé fíor-thábhachtach go mbíonn uimhir teagmhála tuistí againn do gach páiste sa scoil. Má tá aon athrú tagtha ar bhur sonraí teagmhála, cuir scéal chuig Muireann san oifig láithreach, le bhur dtoil. Míle Buíochas.
It would be greatly appreciated if any forms to be signed, money for various events, or permission slips are returned to the school as soon as possible, or by date specified on the note, to allow for effective administration. Also, when sending money into the school, PLEASE ensure it is in an envelope! With almost 250 pupils now in the school, it is impossible to keep track of children handing money in without an envelope, at any time of year. If you have misplaced or run out of your yellow school envelopes, send €3.50 in with your child and a packet will be sent home with them. Alternatively, you can recycle any envelope from home. Please also ensure their FULL NAME, Class & what the money is for is written clearly on the envelope. A reminder to please send an email to scoil@cnocnare.net for any payments you have made for your child(ren) to their school account, giving details and what the payment is for. For now, the School Ulster Bank account is still in use. We will update as soon as that changes. Please check emails regularly. Thank you. Míle Buíochas.
