We ask parents to also remind children of personal hygiene, washing hands etc., so that contagion can be kept to a minimum. Please do NOT send children in to school with a high temperature or symptoms of illness (e.g. diarrhoea etc.). Thank you.

Whole school professional development on The Primary Language Curriculum will take place for our staff this WEDNESDAY 17th JANUARY 2018. The school will be closed for pupils that day as per previous notifications.

Swimming classes for children in R2 are starting tomorrow Tuesday 16th Jan. Please ensure children have all their gear and remind them not to leave anything on the bus please.

Le cabhair airgidis ó CAIRDE agus craobh CCÉ Fred Finn, beidh gach páiste sa scoil ag glacadh páirt i gcláracha cheoil curtha ar fáil ag Music Generation. Beidh Rang 3 ag fáil ranganna cnaguirlisí ag tosú ar an Déardaoin seo 18/1 agus ranganna 4,5 agus 6 ag foghlaim an Ukelele, ag tosú ar an Aoine 19/1. Leanann na ranganna ar feadh 14 seachtainí. Beidh gach rud eile ag tosú ar an gclár ‘Discovering Music) i Mí Feabhra. Táimid fíorbhuíoch do CAIRDE agus Fred Finn as ucht an deis seo a chur ar fáil dona páistí.
With funding from CAIRDE and the Fred Finn Comhaltas branch, all children in the school will be participating in music programs provided by Music Generation. Rang 3 will start percussion classes on this Thursday and Ranganna 4,5 and 6 will be learning Ukelele, with classes starting this Friday. The classes continue for 14 weeks. The remaining classes will start on the Discovering Music program in February. We are grateful to CAIRDE and Fred Finn for providing this opportunity to the children.

Beidh an banaltra scoile anseo ar an Luan, Máirt & Céadaoin, 22ú, 23ú & 24ú Mí Eanair chun scrúdú súile srl a chur ar na páistí. Ní gá aon rud a dhéanamh faoi, thug tú an cead cuí ag tús na bliana.
The school nurse will examine the hearing, eyesight etc. of children from Jnr Infants next Mon, Tues & Wed 22nd, 23rd & 24th January. You do not need to do anything in relation to this, you have given your permission already. No child will be examined where permission was not given. If any child is absent through illness, you will be contacted by the Schools section in Markieviz House to arrange an appointment.
