BRISEADH LÁR TÉARMA/MID-TERM BREAK & TRICK OR TREAT FOR TEMPLE STREET:
Beidh an scoil ag dúnadh ar an Aoine seo 22ú Deireadh Fómhair ag an gnáth am i gcóir briseadh lár téarma. Athosclóidh sí arís Dé Luain 1ú Samhain. Ar an Aoine, beidh cead ag na páistí gléasadh i bhfeisteas Oíche Shamhna ach faraor beidh bac ar frapaí ar nós bataí, scuabanna srl.(hatái agus aghaidheann fidil ceadaithe) Is fearr go mbeidh siad gléasta ag teacht ar scoil. Lorgaímid síntúis beag ón gclann más féidir, d’ Ospidéal Temple Street. Níl cead bia a roinnt ach tá cead acu ‘treat’ beag a thabhairt leo don lón. Tá cosc ar chnóanna, áfach.
School will close this Friday 22nd October at the normal times for the mid-term break, and will re-open on Monday 1st November. On Friday the children will be allowed to dress up in Halloween costumes but unfortunately props such as sticks, brushes etc. as well as home made bulky fancy dress items cannot be used (hats and masks are ok). It is preferable if they can come to school already dressed up. Each year we ask for a small donation (per family), if possible, for Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Sharing food is not allowed but they are allowed to bring a small ‘treat’ for lunch. No nuts, however.

Cruinnithe Tuistí-Múinteoirí/Parent-Teacher Meetings
Níl aon socrú déanta go fóill agus táimid ag fanacht ar threor na Roinne. Tá gach cosúlacht ar chúrsaí nach mbeidh siad ar siúl ach amháin thar an fón/idirlíon agus seans níos deireanaí sa bhlian ná mar bha ghnách. Is féidr teagmháil a dhéanamh i gcónaí leis an múinteoir ranga tríd ríomhphost, Aladdin, Seesaw (nua) nó tríd glaoch ar ais a lorg tríd an oifig.
No arrangements have been made yet and we are awaiting the Department’s guidance. It is more than likely that they will take place over the phone / internet only and may be held later in the year than usual. The class teacher can always be contacted by email, Aladdin, Seesaw (new) or by seeking a call back through the office.

AIRE Tuistí/ Attention parents! Éidí scoile/School Uniforms
Aoine 22ú D.Fómhair 12-2.30i.n. i halla Naomh Mhuire/ Friday 22nd Oct, 12-2.30pm in St. Mary’s Hall entrance (Door on left of main building)

Tá go leor éide scoile againn a bheimis ag díol nó ag malartú de ghnáth, ach ní dócha go bhféadfar é seo a reáchtáil i mbliana. Tuigimid gur féidir leis na míreanna seo a bheith costasach, agus is fuath linn tuismitheoirí a fheiceáil ag dul ar an gcostas breise a bhaineann le míreanna éide aonfhoirmeacha a athsholáthar. Tá líon mór earraí fágtha freisin ag tuismitheoirí a bhfuil a gcuid leanaí tar éis an scoil a fhágáil anois. Beidh siad ar fáil SAOR IN AISCE!!

Tá cuireadh oscailte ann dul tríd na héadaí seo Dé hAoine seo chugainn, ach cloí le scaradh sóisialta agus béasaíocht sláinteachais. Beidh siad uile SAOR IN AISCE!! Is deis iontach í chun ‘ceann breise’ a fháil. Ná bíodh leisce ort an oiread earraí agus is mian leat a thógáil. Tá súil agam go mbeidh siad uile eagraithe le bailiú timpeall 12pm. Dé hAoine 22ú D.F.

Go ginearálta, spreag do pháiste le barr a gheansaí / a gculaith spóirt a chur go díreach ina mála scoile más gá iad a bhaint! Ba chóir ainmneacha a mharcáil go soiléir ar gach ceann!! Seiceáil le cinntiú nach bhfuil na marcálacha peann fadáilte. Fágfaidh mé bileog de chuid chomhlachta Éireannach a dhéileálann le málaí ainm pearsantaithe.

It’s an ideal opportunity to pick up a ‘spare’ of anything. Feel free to take as many items as you like.  We hope to have all organised for collection by 12pm. this Friday. (Please note, the majority of the items are clean and in good-excellent shape, eg. some have been dropped back and have even been dry-cleaned! I have tried to ensure all items are clean, but feel free to wash items prior to wear.)

In generalPLEASE encourage your child to put their jumper/tracksuit top directly into their schoolbag if they need to take them off!

Also, names should be clearly marked on each of your child’s items!!  Check to ensure pen markings haven’t faded.

Leaflets for an Irish company that deals with personalised nametags will also be left in the hallway.
