Mar is eol daoibh, tá sé fógraithe tráthnóna go mbeidh na scoileanna ag oscailt do pháistí ó Naíonáin Shóisir go Rang 2 ón Luain seo chugainn, 1ú Márta. Ag an bpoinnte seo, táthar ag súil go mbeidh Ranganna 3 go 6 ag filleadh ar an 15ú Márta agus leanfaidh an cianfhoghlaim ar aghaidh sna ranganna sin.
Beimid i dteagmháil go minic idir seo agus sin le sonraí dearfacha agus treoirlínte. Idir an dá linn, tabhair faoi deara na nithe seo a chabhróidh go mór linn ullmhú don lá:
- Beidh boscaí leabhair na bpáistí le bheith curtha ar ais- ní bheadh sé seo indéanta in aon chor a eagrú ar an Luain (plódú agus/nó iompar boscaí troma) – mar sin, beidh an scoil ar oscailt ón 2 go dtí a 5 gach lá ar an Aoine agus Satharn seo 26ú agus 27ú chun deis iad a thabhairt ar ais (Náionáin go Rang 2 amháin).
- Beidh gach múinteoir i dteagmháil libh roimh ré faoi cad ba chóir a bheith sna boscaí (cén leabhair, cóipleabhair, stáisiúnéaracht srl)
- Ní bheidh aon mhúinteoireacht ar siúl sna ranganna sin ar an Aoine seo 26ú chun deis a thabhairt dona múinteoirí ranga na seomraí a ullmhú. Beidh na múinteoirí i dteagmháil faoi na himeachtaí a bhí pleanáilte don lá sin.
Beimid i dteagmháil arís i rith na seachtaine agus táimid ag súil le na páistí seo a fheiceáil ar ais ar scoil Dé Luain.
As you know, it has been announced this evening that schools will be opening for children from Junior Infants to 2nd Class from next Monday, March 1st. At this point, it is expected that Rang 3 to 6 will be returning on the 15th March and distance learning will continue in those classes until then.
We will be in regular contact between now and then with more details and guidelines. In the meantime, please note the following to help us prepare for the day:
(1) The children’s book boxes are to be returned – this will not be possible on Monday (large crowding and / or heavy boxes to be carried) – so the school will be open from 2 to 5 each day on Friday 26th and 27th for their return (Infants to 2nd Class only).
(2) All teachers will contact you in advance about what should be in the boxes (books, copybooks, stationery etc.)
(3) No teaching will take place in these classes on this Friday the 26th to give the class teachers and staff an opportunity to prepare the rooms and school for the return. The teachers will be in touch about activities already planned for that day.
We will be in touch again during the week and we look forward to seeing the younger children back at school on Monday!
