OBAIR BHAILE/HOMEWORK
Le tógáil ar na leanaí ag socrú go maith ar scoil, coinneoimid leis an socrú reatha gan aon obair bhaile fhoirmiúil a bheith ann i mí Dheireadh Fómhair. Iarraimid, áfach, go leanfar den léitheoireacht sa bhaile agus de ghníomhaíochtaí fisiciúla / scileanna saoil agus d’fhéadfadh go mbeadh roinnt ranganna ag déanamh obair thionscadail agus gníomhaíochtaí béil sa bhaile freisin. Tá sé beartaithe againn formáid athbhreithnithe agus chomhsheasmhach d’obair bhaile / ghníomhaíochtaí a thabhairt isteach de réir a chéile tar éis shos Oíche Shamhna, formáid a bheidh bunaithe ar thuairimí múinteoirí agus tuismitheoirí chomh maith leis an gcleachtas oideachais is fearr. Leanann an obair ar aghaidh! Táimid ag obair freisin ar ár mbeartas Cianfhoghlama chomh maith le hiniúchadh a dhéanamh ar SEESAW maidir le punanna r-fhoghlama agus obair scoile / baile. Déanfaidh Rang 6 é seo a phíolótú sna seachtainí amach romhainn. Go raibh maith agaibh as bhur gcomhoibriú go léir go dtí seo.
Thanks to all who participated in the recent survey – the headline graphs have been distributed and are also HERE: OBAIR BHAILE-Tuistí1. The comments are particularly helpful and are being analysed and will help in the drafting of our new policy going forward. To build on the opening month of children settling well back into school, we will maintain the current arrangement of no formal homework for the month of October. However, we ask that reading at home and physical/life skill activities continue and some classes may also be doing project work and oral activities at home. We intend to gradually introduce a revised and consistent format of homework/activities after the Halloween break based on teacher and parental opinions as well as best educational practise. The work continues! We are also working on our Remote Learning policy as well as exploring the potential of the SEESAW platform for e-learning portfolios and school/home work. Rang 6 will pilot this in the coming weeks. Thanks for all your co-operation to date.

CÉAD CHOMAOINEACH/FIRST COMMUNION
Comhghairdeas leis na páistí ó Rang 3, Rang 2 na bliana seo caite, a rinne a gCéad Chomaoineach Naofa le déanaí, agus le Mtr. Jade agus Mtr. Samantha as iad a ullmhú chuige.

Congratulations to the children from Rang 3, last year’s Rang 2 who finally made their First Holy Communion recently, and to Múinteoir Jade and Múinteoir Samantha for preparing them.
