During the current hot weather, it is advisable to apply sun cream before the children come to school, or if they are old enough, to do so themselves. Shorts (blue/black/dark etc,) are permitted for all as well as the white school polo shirt (no t-shirts nor football jerseys please). If bringing a jumper or tracksuit top, please ensure that the child’s name is clearly marked on it as the opportunity to take it off and leave it outside is greater. Due to difficulties with sourcing supplies, we need to change the track suit top currently in use to a round neck, crested green sweatshirt which will also be less expensive than the current top. This change will start with incoming Junior Infants and there is no requirement for other classes to change until or if a new top is required. Jako are the suppliers and are taking orders now.
