Nuachtlitir Iúil #3, 30-07-2020

(ENGLISH VERSION BELOW)

A thuismitheoirí, a chairde,

Is é seo tús le neart cumarsáide ón scoil sna seachtainí amach romhainn. Is féidir fanacht suas chun dáta tríd an nasc seo a leabharmharcáil: http://ww2.cnocnare.net/fograi/

Tá an-áthas orainn go mbeidh an scoil ag athoscailt ag deireadh mhí Lúnasa mar a bhí beartaithe agus tá an fhoireann ag súil go mór le fáilte a chur roimh na páistí agus cabhrú leo dul i ngleic arís leis an bhfoghlaim ar scoil. Beidh mórchuid na bpáistí ag tnúth le filleadh ar ais ar scoil agus ag bualadh le cairde, le múinteoirí agus le baill foirne. Beidh go leor daoine ar bís, fuascailte agus sona. Seans go mbeidh cuid acu rud beag imníoch agus buartha faoi dhul ar ais. Is rud nádúrtha é sin ach go háirithe ag am an aistrithe agus an athraithe. Socróidh mórchuid na bpáistí le himeacht ama, agus iad ag athcheangal le cairde agus ag dul i dtaithí ar na gnáthaimh nua sábháilteachta scoile. Chabhródh sé go mór linn ullmhú chuige dá bhféadfá ceistneoir na bpáistí a líonadh ag https://forms.gle/t353BQFF8yQsBkPw7  mura bhfuil sin déanta agat cheana.

Tá agus leanfaidh ár scoil ag obair go crua chun a chinntiú go mbeidh na foirgnimh agus an clós súgartha sábháilte do na páistí, na múinteoirí agus na tuismitheoirí go léir. Ciallóidh sé seo roinnt gnáthaimh agus rialacha nua chun gach duine a choinneáil slán. Cuirfimid ar an eolas sibh ar ndóigh agus tacóimid libh na gnáthaimh agus na rialacha nua seo a fhoghlaim. Cé go bhféadfadh an scoil agus gnáthaimh a bheith difriúil leo siúd a d’fhágamar inár ndiaidh an 12 Márta, bí cinnte nach mbeidh aon athrú ar an atmaisféar sábháilte, slán agus fáilteach a shainmhíníonn Gaelscoil Chnoc na Ré.

Mar fhoireann, tá a fhios againn go bhfuil folláine tábhachtach agus riachtanach chun go dtarlóidh an fhoghlaim. Beimid ag tabhairt tosaíochta do na rudaí a chuirfidh folláine chun cinn. Aithnímid freisin go ndearna sibh sár-iarrachtaí tacú le hoideachas leanúnach bhur bpáistí nuair a dúnadh na scoileanna agus go bhfuil bhur ndícheall déanta agaibh. Beidh múinteoirí ag tosú san áit ina bhfuil gach páiste.

Tá tuilleadh sonraí faoi na pleananna agus na prótacail ar fáil ag https://www.gov.ie/en/campaigns/a128d-back-to-school/  Cuirimid fáilte roimh aon mholtaí nó tuairimí a d’fhéadfadh a bheith agat, ag scoil@cnocnare.net

Beimid i dteagmháil arís go luath, fanaigí slán!

Dear parents,

This is the first of many communications from the school in the coming weeks. You can keep up to date by bookmarking the following link: http://ww2.cnocnare.net/fograi/

We are delighted that the school will be reopening at the end of August as planned and the staff are really looking forward to welcoming children back and helping them re-engage with learning in school. Most children will be looking forward to school and meeting up with friends, teachers and other school staff. Many will feel excited, relieved and happy. Some may feel a little anxious and worried about getting back. That’s to be expected and it’s a normal response at a time of transition and change. Most children will settle in over time, as they reconnect with friends and get used to the new school safety routines. It would really help us prepare for this if you could fill out the questionnaire for children at https://forms.gle/t353BQFF8yQsBkPw7 if you have not already done so.

Our school has been and will continue working very hard to make sure that the buildings and playground will be safe for all of the children, teachers and parents. This will mean some new routines and rules to keep everyone safe. We will of course inform you and support you to learn these new routines and rules. While school and routines may be different than what we left behind on March 12th, please be assured that there will be no change to the safe, secure and welcoming atmosphere that defines Gaelscoil Chnoc na Ré.

As a staff, we know that wellbeing is important and needed for learning to happen. We will be prioritising the things that we know will promote wellbeing. Also, we acknowledge that parents have made great efforts to support their child’s continued education when schools were closed and have done their best. Teachers will be starting with where every child is at.

More details on the plans and protocols are available at https://www.gov.ie/en/campaigns/a128d-back-to-school/. We welcome any suggestions or comments you may have, at scoil@cnocnare.net

We will be in touch again soon, stay safe!
