A thuismitheoirí, a chairde

Tá na rudaí seo i bhfeidhm sa scoil
(1) Tuairisc lárbhliana ar gach páiste scaipithe ag na cruinnithe le tuismitheoirí i Mí na Samhna.
(2) Tuairiscí Scoile ag deireadh na bliana curtha chugaibh sula ndúnann an scoil i Mí Meitheamh (tá nóta míniúcháin iniata), agus
(3) Eolas ar thorthaí na bpáistí sna triallacha caighdeánaithe (Rang 1 – Rang 6) tugtha do thuismitheoirí maraon le míniúcháin orthu

Tá an tuairisc scoile, ar a bhfuil torthaí na scrúdaithe caighdeánaithe, ar fáil ar Aladdin anois (Muna bhfuil tú in ann iad a fháil ar Aladdin téigh i dteagmháil leis an scoil). Le seo tá bileoga a mhíníonn conas iad a léamh.

Tá sé tábhachtach go léitear an t-eolas seo agus sibh ag féachaint ar na torthaí. Tá se mar pholasaí freisin ag an scoil dul i dteagmháil le tuismitheoirí aon pháiste a fhaigheann toradh íseal nó toradh nach rabhthas ag súil leo.

N.B.: Tá mír ar an dtuairisc maidir le tinreamh do pháiste. Baineann an figiúir ata léirithe ann leis an tréimhse ó thús na bliana go dtí an lár Mí an Mheitheimh (dáta na tuairisce). Tabhair faoi deara go bhfuil dualgas ar an scoil asláithreachtaí thar 20 lá scoile sa scoilbhliain a chur in iúl don rannóg Seirbhísí Leasa Oideachais i TUSLA (https://www.tusla.ie/services/educational-welfare-services/ews/ )

The following is now in place:
(1) An interim written report for all children is given at the Parent-teacher meetings in November;
(2) End of year reports are sent out before school finishes in June (an explanatory note on the format is included), and
(3) Information is sent to parents on their child’s scores in standardised testing (Rang 1- Rang 6) and explanation of scoring system used

You can find your child’s end of year school report with the standardised test scores for your child (if applicable) on Aladdin now (if you cannot access Aladdin contact the school) Attached find leaflets which explain how to interpret the scores. Please take time to read this leaflet in conjunction with the results.

It is also school policy for teachers to contact parents of students with low or unexpected scores to discuss these results.

N.B. The report sheet also includes a section on your child’s attendance. The figure shown is the amount of days absent from the beginning of the school year to mid June (date of report). Please note that we are obliged to inform the Educational Welfare Services section of TUSLA (https://www.tusla.ie/services/educational-welfare-services/ews/) of absences of 20 days or more in a school year.
