We wish every blessing to Rang 6 and múinteoir Samantha who have been busily preparing for Confirmation this Thursday 1st June at 11.30am in the Cathedral. Everyone is welcome to attend this special occasion. The children from R3-R5 will be singing in the choir.

Every year, we encourage the children from the Communion and Confirmation classes to make a donation to North West Hospice (R6) and “St. Johns Patient Comfort Fund” (R2). Many thanks to those who have already made donations to St. Johns from R2. Maith sibh! Míle Buíochas!

CORN SAM MAGUIRE
Míle buíochas le Dára (N. Shinsir) a thug an corn Sam Maguire ar scoil le déanaí. Imríonn uncail Dára, Paul Flynn, le Baile Átha Cliath.
Thanks to Dára from Snr Infants for bringing in the Sam Maguire cup for the children to view last week. Dára’s uncle Paul Flynn plays for Dublin.

Congratulations to Múinteoir Liz on the birth of her daughter Lucy at the weekend.
• Le Fionn, i Rang 6 a fuair an dara duais san Easons Spelling Bee le déanaí.
To Fionn, Rang 6, on his valiant effort in the Easons Spelling Bee Connacht Final, winning 2nd place.
• Le Giadda Puddu ó Naíonáin Shinsir a bhailigh a duais i gComórtas Ealaíne Texaco.
To Giadda Puddu from Senior infants who collected her prize in the National Texaco Art competition recently.
• Le Éabha R5, Treasa R4 & Ceoilín R4 a ghlac páirt sa Chomórtas Náisiúnta Gleacaíochta ag an deireadh seachtaine. Fuair Treasa an dara áit sa tír in a comórtas!
To Éabha R5, Treasa R4 agus Ceoilín R4 who participated in the National Championships Gymnastics Ireland event at the weekend. Treasa won a silver National medal in her competition!

New children will be coming in to spend an hour together from 9.30-10.30am. No need for uniforms or snack.
