A thuismitheoirí,
Tá sé beartaithe againn tús a chur l’ Aistear – Creatchuraclam na Luath-Óige, sna ranganna Naíonáin go luath.
Creatchuraclam is ea Aistear do leanaí ó bhreith go sé bliana in Éirinn. Chun é seo a chur i bhfeidhm, bíonn uair an chloig de spraoi structúrtha nó foghlaim chomhtháite sna ranganna naonáin gach lá. Má tá breis eolais ag teastáil ar na téamaí a bhaineann l’Aistear, beidh an suíomh idirlín seo a leanas áisiúil duit:
http://www.ncca.ie/en/Curriculum_and_Assessment/Parents/Early_Childhood/AFL.pdfschool,
Chun Aistear a chur ar bhun go foirmeálta sa scoil, beidh roinnt mhaith infheistíocht le déanamh in achmhainní Aistear. Tá airgead curtha ar fail ag an scoil chun é seo a dhéanamh. Ina theannta sin áfach, bheadh an scoil an-bhuíoch as an gcabhair bhreise go bhféadfadh teaghlaigh a thabhairt dúinn ó thaobh achmainní de.
B’fhéidir go bhfuil breagáin, cluichí nó fearas sa bhaile agaibh nach bhfuil ag teastál a thuilleadh. Má tá, bheadh áthas ar an scoil glacadh l’aon rud den chineál seo atá fós i rocht maith. Tá líosta den saghas rudaí atá ag teastáil faoi lámh le seo.
Deán teagmháil linn más féidir leat cabhrú linn ar aon bhealach.
We intend to formally introduce the Aistear framework and themes to Junior and Senior Infant classes over the coming weeks. Aistear – the Irish word for “journey” is the Early Childhood Curriculum Framework developed by the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA) for children from birth to six years. It consists of an hour of structured play a day to help children learn in infant classrooms.
If you wish to familiarise yourself with the key themes of Aistear the following site will be of help to you: http://www.ncca.ie/en/Curriculum_and_Assessment/Parents/Early_Childhood/AFL.pdfschool,
In order to formally implement the Aistear framework in the school a considerable financial investment will required be to fund the Aistear recourses. The school has set aside funds for this purpose. However, we would also be grateful for any assistance which parents and families can provide by way of donation of appropriate resources.
Perhaps you have toys or play equipment which your family have outgrown or no longer need and if so, the school would be delighted to get them. Ideally, we are looking for toys and equipment which fit in with our Aistear themes and which are in good condition. We have attached an ‘Aistear wishlist’ to give an idea of the type of resources we are looking for.
Please contact us if you feel you can help us out in anyway in this regard.
