Leanfaidh an scoil ar aghaidh mar is gnáth ach amháin go mbíonn comhairle faighte againn ón HSE a mhalairt a dhéanamh. Tabhair faoi deara na sonraí thíos.
1. Bígí aireach.Tá sé fíor-thábhactach nach dtagann páistí a léiríonn tinneas, mar a bheadh fliú, ar scoil.
2. Beidh foireann na scoile ag díriú ar bhéasaíocht riospráide agus sláinteachas láimhe le postaeir agus ceachtanna.
3. Tá rannóirí gallúnaí ann agus úsáidtear tuáillí páipéir.
4. Glanfar cruadhromchlaí go rialta le glantóirí cuí.
5. Plean Cumarsáide – muna bhfuil tú ag fáil téacsanna ón scoil, nó más maith leat an uimhir fóin póca ata againn a athrú, cuir scéal chuig an oifig laithreach le do thoil.
The school will continue to operate normally unless advised by the Department of Public Health in the Health Service Executive (HSE) and is following guidelines as laid out by the Department of Education and Department of Health. Please note the following:
1. Please be vigilant. It is vitally important that children displaying flu-like symptoms should NOT attend school.
2. The school/staff will be focussing on encouraging respiratory and hand hygiene through posters and lessons.
3. Soap dispensers are in place and paper towels are used in all toilets and rooms for drying hands.
4. Routine cleaning of all hard surfaces will take place using appropriate cleaning agents.
5. Communication Plan – if you are not receiving texts from the school or if you wish to change the mobile number we are using, please contact the office immediately.

MEABHRÁN: Beidh forbairt ghairmiúil scoile (Curaclam Teanga na Bunscoile) ar siúl don bhfoireann ar an AOINE seo, 13ú MÁRTA 2020. Beidh an scoil ag dúnadh ag 12.00 (agus dúnta freisin ar an Luan 16ú agus ar an Mháirt 17ú). Beidh LÁ GLAS againn maidin Dé hAoine ar son ‘MAKE-A_WISH’ – FÉACH ANSEO
REMINDER: Whole school professional development on The Primary Language Curriculum will take place for our staff on the afternoon of this FRIDAY 13th MARCH 2020. The school will close at 12 noon and will also be closed on Monday 16th and Tuesday 17th. Friday morning will be ‘LÁ GLAS-GREEN DAY’ where the children can dress in green etc. and make a donation to ‘MAKE-A-WISH’ – CLICK HERE
Coirm GAEL-LINN
Go n-éirí an t-ádh le na páistí i R6 agus R4 a bheidh ag glacadh páirt i comórtas Coirm Gael Linn sa Hawkswell amárach, an Mháirt 10ú Márta. Beidh páistí ón scoil ag dul ann chun tacaíocht a thabhairt dóibh sa gcomórtas seo . Ná dean dearmad an €2 don bhus a chur isteach. GRMA
Best of luck to the children from R6 and R4 who will take part in a Gael Linn competition in the Hawkswell tomorrow, Tuesday 10th March. Other classes will also be going to the Hawkswell to support. Please send in the €2 for the bus if not already paid. GRMA
COMHRÁ agus CUPÁN – CAIRDE/FAMILY EVENT
Aoine 13ú Márta timpeall 5 – 7pm i gcaifé Osta: Oíche shóisialta. Buail isteach le do pháistí (nó gaolta nó cairde) agus bain úsáid as do chuid Gaeilge!
Friday 13th March from 5 – 7 pm approx. in Osta café: Drop in with the kids (or friends, relatives etc.) and practise your ‘cúpla focal’!
CRUINNIÚ CAIRDE/ CAIRDE MEETING
Beidh an chéad chruinniú eile Cairde ar siúl ar an Mháirt seo, 10ú Márta, ar a hocht a chlog sa scoil. Fáilte roimh cách.
The next Cairde meeting will take place tomorrow night, Tuesday March 10th at 8pm in the school.
