We wish every blessing to Rang 6 and múinteoir Samantha who have been busily preparing for Confirmation Wednesday 25th at 11.30am in the Cathedral. Everyone is welcome to attend this special occasion. The children from R2-R5 will be singing in the choir.
Gach bliain, molaimíd do na páistí ó R2 & R6 airgid a thabhairt do “Ospís an Iarthuaiscirt” (R6) agus i mbliana“Ospidéal Naomh Eoin” (R2). Míle buíochas do na páistí a thug síntúis ó R2 le déanaí; bhí €300 árdaithe, maith sibh! Beidh an t-airgead á bhailiú ó R6 go dtí an Aoine 27ú Bealtaine. Míle buíochas!
Every year, we encourage the children from the Communion and Confirmation classes to make a donation to North West Hospice (R6) and this year “St. Johns Patient Comfort Fund” (R2). Many thanks to those who have already made donations to St. Johns from R2, €300 was raised, well done! Donations will be accepted from R6 (anonymously if preferred) up to Friday 27th May. Tógadh grianghrafanna sa scoil ar an 5ú Aibreáin. Is gá iad a sheoladh ar ais anois agus an t-airgead a chuir isteach. Bheimis buíoch dá gcuirfeá ar ais iad roimh an Aoine seo 20ú Bealtaine le bhur dtoil.
Photographs were taken in the school on April 5th and proofs were distributed via children’s bags. These are due for return with payment this week. I would be very grateful if you could return either the money owed or the complete proof pack by this Friday 20th May please, even if you are not purchasing. If you have already returned your pack/money, please ignore this reminder and your cooperation is much appreciated. Unfortunately, no orders can be taken via the school after this Friday, and you will need to go online if you wish to order. Go raibh maith agaibh.

Please ensure that you have completed and returned an enrolment form to the office if you have a child/children to be enrolled in the years 2017-2020 as lists are increasing rapidly. Forms are available from office.

Bheimis buíoch as aon fhoirm, airgead, cead srl. A bheith seolta ar ais CHOMH LUATH AGUS IS FÉIDIR le bhur dtoil. Freisin bí cinnte go gcuirtear aon airgead a thugtar don scoil (turas srl.) i gclúdach litreach. Le níos mó ná 250 dalta sa scoil, tá sé dodhéanta súil a choinneáil ar airgead nach bhfuil i gclúdach, go háirithe ag an am seo den bhliain leis an oiread sin turais scoile / gníomhaíochtaí etc. Muna bhfuil na clúdaigh scoile buí agat , seol € 3.50 chugainn agus cuirfimid paicéad nua chugat, nó is féidir aon chlúdach litreach ón mbaile a athchúrsáil. Tá sé fíor-thábhachtach go mbíonn uimhir teagmhála tuistí gain do gach páiste sa scoil. Má tá aon athrú tagtha ar bhur sonraí teagmhála, cuir scéal chuig Muireann san oifig láithreach, le bhur dtoil. It would be greatly appreciated if any forms to be signed, money for various events, or permission slips are returned to the school AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, or by date specified on the note, to allow for effective administration. Also, if you are sending money into the school, PLEASE ensure it is in an envelope! With almost 250 pupils now in the school, and growing, it is impossible to keep track of children handing money in without an envelope, especially at this time of year with so many school tours/activities etc. If you have misplaced or run out of your yellow school envelopes, send €3.50 in with your child and a packet will be sent home with them. Alternatively, you can recycle any envelope from home. It is imperative that the school has a contact number of a parent/guardian for each child, which is accessible at all times. If you have changed/updated any of your contact details, please let Muireann in the school office know immediately, thank you.

In the interests of Health & Safety, we would ask that you do not allow your child(ren) to climb the stone bank (between carpark and pitch) The loose stone can cause falls and accidents have occurred previously. GRM.
