Olldhíolachán LEABHAIR / Book Sale Aoine /Ceádaoin & Déardaoin 25th + 26th November
Beidh Díolacháin leabhair ar siúl thuas staighre sa scoil ó 3-5pm Dé Céadaoin 25ú, agus Déardaoin 26 Samhain (le linn na cruinnithe Tuismitheoirí-Múinteoirí). Leabhair €1 an ceann, nó 3 ar € 2. Freisin roinnt leabhair leanaí ar fáil. Buail isteach agus bí ag brabhsáil !!
Sale of books will take place upstairs in Gaelscoil from 3-5pm on Wednesday 25th , and Thursday 26th November (during Parent-Teacher meetings). Adult books €1 each, or 3 /€2. Also some children’s books available. Drop in and have a browse !!

Bíonn Mí na Nollag an-ghnóthach do Cairde i gcónaí, leis an Lá Bratach agus féilirí 2016 le díol (féach thíos). Idir an dá rud seo, beimid ag súil go mbaileoimid thart ar €3000 agus caithfear an t-airgead sin ar na feabhsúcháin luaite thíos. Iarraimid oraibh tacú le Cairde trí am nó airgead a chur ar fáil ionas gur féidir leanúint le forbairt na scoile agus eispéireas oideachasúil do pháiste a chothú.
December is always the busiest month for Cairde, with our two biggest fundraisers, the Flag Day and the sale of the 2016 calendar coming up. We hope to raise up to €3000 between the two, and those funds will go towards the following:
- Aistear programme
- Science equipment/materials
Your support for Cairde parent association either by giving your time or money ( or both!) is very important to the development of the school and your child’s educational experience.
Lá Bratach Cairde: Dáta don Dialann AOINE 11ú Nollaig ** PRÁINNEACH **
Beidh bailiúchán sráide bliantúil na Gaelscoile ar siúl ar an Aoine 11ú Nollaig don lá ar fad (agus b’fhéidir ar an Déardaoin 10ú freisin). Beidh bailitheoirí ag teastáil i rith an lae. Le do thoil, coimeád uair amháin nó dhá uair saor chuige seo.
Cairde Flag Day: Friday 11th December ** URGENT **
The annual street Flag Day collection for the Gaelscoil will take place on Friday 11th December all day and potentially on Thursday 10th. Volunteer collectors will be needed throughout the day. Rang 1& 4 are organising the event this year. Cairde are asking that:
- Each family give one hour of their time to collect at a designated area in the town
- Children can accompany a parent but cannot collect on their own (permit limitation)
- Two volunteers can collect together, if preferred
