Mar is eol daoibh, cuirfear tús le scéim Leabhair Bunscoile in Aisce na leabhar do gach páiste bunscoile i mí Mheán Fómhair seo chugainn. Ó Mheán Fómhair 2023 ar aghaidh beidh na téacsleabhair scoile, na leabhair oibre agus na cóipleabhair uile maoinithe ag an rialtas, faoi réir uaschaiteachais de €96 an páiste. Mar a bhí roimhe seo, leanfaidh an scoil ag aimsiú na nearraí go léir agus ag feidhmiú scéim cíosa leabhar nuair is cuí.

Leanfaidh an scoil ar aghaidh ag gearradh táille dona hearraí seo. Go praiticiúil, laghdófar costas bliantúil na leabharliosta go suntasach. Tá obair ar siúl chun na costais seo a thabhairt chun críche agus beidh tuilleadh sonraí ina dhiaidh sin go luath i mí Iúil.
As you are no doubt aware the free school books scheme will commence for all primary school children next September. From September 2023 all school textbooks, workbooks and copybooks will be funded by the government, subject to a maximum expenditure of €96 per child. As before, the school will continue to source all items and operate a book rental scheme where applicable.
This grant does not cover the following:
- Art & Craft materials
- Aistear (infants)
- Stationery
- Photocopying
- Additional Costs for Outside Coaches and Tutors
- Book Covering
- Headphones
- Insurance
The school will continue to charge for these items. In practical terms, the annual booklist cost will be substantially reduced. Work is ongoing to finalise these costs and more details on this will follow in early July.
CAMPAÍ SAMHRAIDH EALAÍNE/ART SUMMER CAMPS
Beidh Campaí Samhraidh Ealaíne ar siúl sa Ghaelscoil ón Luan 3ú go dtí an Aoine 14ú Iúil. Tá fáilte roimh páistí idir 4—10 mbliana d’aois.
ART Summer camps will take place through the medium of Irish in Gaelscoil Chnoc na Ré for children aged 4 –10. They will commence on Monday 3rd July and second camp will finish on Friday 14th July.
